Kindergarten students have been experimenting with the Elements of Art (line, shape, color, value, form, and texture). For this printmaking project, we looked for
circles in our environment (around the art room) and found cups, marker tops, bottle tops, paper towel rolls, etc. We dipped these circles into black tempera paint before printing them all over our paper. After the black paint dried, students used liquid watercolor to add
color to their beautiful abstract paintings.
