5th Grade - Pinch Pot Creatures

The “pinch pot”, is an ancient form of pottery whereby the artist uses a pinching motion to create a hollow form.  This form may have ornamental or functional purposes.  The 5th graders each created and attached two pinch pots in order to form a hollow clay creature.
