First grade students have been collaborating on a video project in Library, Music, and Art. Mrs. Swinning introduced students to author and illustrator Denise Fleming during Library class. In Art, students worked with Mrs. Pasquan to create paper pulp creatures inspired by Fleming's illustrations. Once their illustrations were imported into the "Explain Everything" app, Mrs. Pickering recorded students in 1D as they created music to represent their characters. Students in 1K are still finishing up their projects, but we expect to be showing both videos on the "big screen" in the art room during the
Martha Jones STEAM event on Thursday, April 28th at 6:30 pm.
