2nd Grade - What's in a Name?
2nd graders began the year talking about symmetry in art class. They noticed that you can cut a folded paper to make a shape that is symmetrical. Students then folded a paper in half and wrote their name along the fold. They cut a bubble around the letters and used their imagination to turn the symmetrical shape into a creative creature.
