1st Grade - Circle Paintings Inspired by Kandinski

1st grade students discussed Kandinski's famous painting: Color Study: Squares with Concentric Circles.  They folded a square paper into 4 or 16 squares, and painted each square with a different color.  During the second class, students experimented with a variety of color combinations while filling each square with concentric circles.
