3rd grade students have been working on observational
drawing skills in Ms. Carberry's art class. They were asked to look at
leaves collected from the school grounds and used watercolor crayons to
"draw what they see" instead of what they know. They paid
careful attention to shape, line, color and value in the creation of their
"Leaf Pile Paintings."
Ms. MacDonald's class
will be showing their work at the High School this Tuesday, October 28th, from
6-8pm during the Capturing Nature in Westwood exhibit. We hope you can make it
to the reception.
