Rose Window
It is round. Outside a real rose windows is grayish brown and inside it is so colorful with orange, blue, green, and red. We made paper rose windows in art. First you have a black piece of paper then you make a triangle and you cut out shapes. You put colored tissue paper in the shapes and then you have your rose window.

Rose windows are large, round, stained glass windows that are typically found in gothic churches or cathedrals. They have a type of balance called radial balance. The third graders are currently working on projects that illustrate symmetrical and asymetrical balance as well. Visit the 3rd grade rose window gallery on artsonia.
