2nd graders looked at a series of jungle paintings by Henri Rousseau. They noticed that he used many tints and shades of the color green. Each student used yellow, blue, black and white tempera paint to mix and apply 4 different values of green. They cut foliage out of their painted papers and used them to create a jungle collage.
